Willie C Mitchell

Mr. Willie Mitchell was born on May 26, 1941 to the late Johnny and Iola Mitchell in Opelika, AL. He attended the Opelika school system.

As an adult he met and married Ms. Christine Maddox, on May 6, 1964, the love of his life. Together, Willie and Christine created their own church, which was very successful.  Willie worked for many years at Mountainside Hospital, in Glen Ridge,. NJ until his retirement. We thank God for allowing Willie to pass this way.

Willie was called to be with our Lord and Savior on February 26, 2024. In addition to his parents, Willie is predeceased by his wife Christine, brothers, Bobby, William, and Arthur, sisters, Ida and Mary. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, Johnny Jr., Jacksonville, GA, Hasson, Flora, Rev. Washington, Montclair, NJ, and Dorothy Vauss as well as a number of  nieces, nephews and friends.
