Teresa was previously married and from that union, one beloved son was born; her son “Little William” was everything to her. Above all, Teresa had strong faith, trust and belief in God. Teresa worked at State Farm Insurance Company from 1991 – 2016 in a variety of positions including leadership roles within the Accounting, Claims, Compliance and Risk Management departments. She volunteered and co-hosted the RTH 2000 gospel radio show which proclaimed the Good News of Jesus Christ from 2016 until October 2018. Teresa was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to all who knew her. She was a long-time dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church in Westfield, New Jersey. Teresa was a faithful woman of God who loved her church family and her Pastor, Kevin Clark. Teresa lived her life trying to lift others along the way. She also loved spending time with her son going on vacations, having Sunday dinners and watching TV together. She and her son also partnered in ministry by financially supporting the building of homes and water wells for families in Africa.
Left to cherish Teresa’s loving and precious memories are: her beloved son, William Samuel McDuffie III, two sisters, Robin Hooker and Zebra Seabron, brother-in-law Howard Hooker, niece Chine’, two great- nephews Elijah IV and Emory, ex husband William McDuffie Jr, ex Mother in Law Carolyn Conner, special Aunt Mildred Jackson and Kymeasi Smith aka “Foxy” a beloved friend that was more like a sister along with a host of other loving life long friends and family members.

John 14: 1 – 3 KJV
“ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. “
Love always, Teresa
