Nellie Willis was born in Martinez GA, to Bill and Pearl Willis. She attended school in Martinez GA until she moved to New Orleans LA, where she completed her schooling. Nellie later moved to New Jersey where spent most of her adult life. She was a Licensed Beautician and Travel Agent while continuing to work for the State of New Jersey, where she was President of her Local 2318 AFSCME of NJ, former Secretary of Treasury for Council 1 AFSCME NJ. She was also a long time member of CBTU Coalition of Black Trade Unionist, INT'L Co/Chair of the Youth Committee for Region 1 and her Chapter/ Central Northern NJ. She was a very Special Kind of Lady. Sweet and Sour but she loved all. Our Beautiful Butterfly we lay to rest for her to Fly High and See All. Nellie is predeceased by her 2 loving sons Calvin and Tony Seay. She leaves to mourn her Daughter April Seay , grandchildren Lakeyla and Jennifer, 6 great grandchildren, her Sister Mary Cook, Brother Moses Willis, 2 Special Nieces- Lisa and Florette and a host of Nieces, nephews, relatives & and very Special Friends.
