Marie Lude Michel Webb

Lude, daughter of Célie Michel and Lennon Sanon, granddaughter of Tantlè. Sister of Joel, Rogeé, Maraney, Edeline and Sylvie. Aunt to their children. Cousin to many of you. And a dear friend to us all. 
Lude was born in beautiful Jeremie, Haiti. After the death of her mother, she moved to Port-au-Prince to complete her secondary studies. She later obtained a diploma at Inaghei University and taught French and History for a few years before moving to New York and then New Jersey in the 80s. Determined to start her new life, she completed a Bachelor in Accounting in Bloomfield College and a Masters in Business Administration in Caldwell College. These credentials allowed her to have a meaningful carrer in computer sciences, administration and education. She fulfilled her passion for teaching while working at the Montclair School Board where she left a positive impact in the life of her students. 
She loved staying active, reading, teaching, cooking & spending time with family. Although she didn't have children, she was a mother figure to her niece's. 
Despite the many challenges she faced, she showed compassion, wisdom, and selflessness to her loved ones. She acknowledged the beauty of life, and always encouraged those around her to live life to the fullest and take all the opportunities that it offers. She will be greatly missed by her family and close friends. May her wisdom, kindness and love continue to guide us all.
