James F Bushrod

James Bushrod was born September 23, 1939 to the late James and Goldie Bushrod in Marshall, VA.

James moved to Montclair as a young man and gained employment working for the Montclair DPW for 28 years until his retirement. James lived a quiet life with is partner Mary Bell. He enjoyed watching baseball, football, playing spades and the lottery. James always had a smile on his face and treated everyone as if they were family.
He departed this life on January 1, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his sister Helena Bushrod and brother Lester Bushrod.
He leaves to cherish his memory three children Donna (Charlottsville, VA), Darrin (Binghamton, NY) and David (Theresa) (West Orange), a sister Emma Warmack (Orange) and longtime companion Mary Bell, eight grandchildren, Shenicwa, Jorleesa, Tamyia, David, Mya, Jordyn, Armoni and Jaelyn, Tiesha and Jalene other family and friends.
He will be truly missed by family and friends
