James Bridges Jr.

James “Jimmy” Bridges Jr., was born to the late James and Irene Bridges on January 2, 1951, in Glenridge, New Jersey. 

He attended Montclair Public Schools. He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. 

Jimmy loved his family and enjoyed living an eventful life. 

He was preceded in death by 3 of his brothers Jason Bridges, Earl Bridges, and James Brooks.

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his son, James Bridges 3rd of Nashville, NC; his 2 brothers Melvin Mason of Fayetteville, NC and Vincent Bridges of Emporia, VA; his 2 sisters Vanessa Batts (Dwight Sr.) of Emporia, VA and Rita Spence of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his grandson Isaiah Downing of Fayetteville, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.

A celebration of life memorial will be announced at a later date.
