Cecil George Fonseca IV

Cecil George Fonseca, a loving father, husband and son, died peacefully at home on June 8th, 2020. Although it seems that the time of his passing was too soon, Cecil brought much joy and laughter into this world and put a smile on every face he came across. This gentle giant will always be a pleasant memory in our hearts and will never be forgotten. 

Cecil was born in Glenn Ridge, New Jersey on September 11th 1981, son of Leslie and Cecil Sr. Fonseca. He is survived by his spouse Vivian Fonseca and his two beautiful children, Jayden and Julia Fonseca, and his two step children Mia Salas, and Dejah Irizarry, who were the most important part of his life. He is  survived by his sister Celine Fonseca-Godwin, (Ronnie), his grandfather Neil Perry, and his Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.  

Cecil graduated from West Orange High School and then studied at Bloomfield College. He then worked for Celgene Corporation as a senior data entry coordinator. It was at this location where he met his wife Vivian, whom he was married to on October 10th, 2010. Together, Cecil and Vivian welcomed their children, Julia and Jayden, on February 24th, 2012.  

Cecil lived a life of simplicity, focusing on what truly mattered to him. As those who were closest to him know, Cecil embraced life with much laughter and left us all with fond memories of our time with him. As we all come together, let us remember. 

May he rest in peace. We will miss you always.
